MY HERO ACADEMIA SEASON 4 EPISODE 13

This episode was so amazing. The fight was fantastic, but emotional aspect definitely took the spotlight (as is always the case in MHA). And goddamn is it good. THIS is why Deku deserves to be the MC of the story. His determination to save Eri despite still being far away from being a truly great hero is so endearing. I better not see any more "Deku doesn't deserve One for All" after this. He's rough around the edges and has a long way ahead, for sure, but he already has a spirit of a true hero, as otherwise he wouldn't have been able to save Eri. Eri didn't need just any hero, she needed someone like All Might, someone who would show her that everything's alright and there's no need for her to worry anymore. Which is exactly what Deku did. On the other hand, Overhaul got even more shine. Chisaki was already great, but seeing that he is so determined to repay his "old man" for taking him in that he's ready to make him, the very person he's trying to repay, go into a coma until his plan is finished makes him even more twisted. And there's truly something amazing about him becoming a monster not just in mind, but in form as well. And his plan of selling drugs to both sides and watch them destroy each other, while getting the money from both is the most yakuza plan you could possibly imagine. This is an emotional climax of this arc. And Bones did it so much justice. I'm so glad to see my favourite arc get such a great treatment. And there's still a little bit of it left, which is amazing.
